How the Retirement Planner works
Builds a target retirement corpus from today’s expenses, inflation until retirement, years in retirement, and an assumed drawdown / return, then backs out the monthly saving needed.
Formula / method. Expense at retirement = E × (1 + i)^years_to_retire. Corpus ≈ present value of that real annuity over retirement years. SIP is the annuity payment that reaches the corpus.
When to use it. Use it as a planning envelope, then stress-test with Coast FIRE and Goal SIP.
